We’re excited that you’re interested in participating in the Voices of UAE art competition! Please complete the application form below to secure your spot and submit your creative work.
Awards
- All participants will be given e-certificates of participation
- 60 winning artworks will be selected based on the 100-point scale judges use for scoring. These artworks will be displayed at Crossborders Art Gallery for a student art show.
- The top 60 finalists will be awarded physical certificates in a ceremony at the Art show.
- 1 artwork from each category that earns the highest points will receive customised plaques at the event ceremony.
Judging Criteria
- Originality and Creativity – 25 points
(Evaluation of the uniqueness and innovative approach in the artwork.) - Technical Skill – 30 points
(Assessment of the artist’s proficiency in the chosen medium and attention to detail.) - Thematic Relevance – 30 points
(Consideration of how effectively the artwork reflects the competition’s theme.) - Composition and Aesthetics – 15 points
(Assessment of the overall composition, use of colour, and visual appeal)

Application Guidelines
Before filling out the form, ensure you meet the following criteria:
- Participants must be residents or citizens of the UAE, aged 11–18, and currently enrolled as students in a school within the UAE.
- Only one artwork may be submitted across all categories. Multiple submissions are not allowed.
- Submissions must be the participant’s original work and created without the use of AI tools.
- Ensure the artwork aligns with the competition theme: Discover the Colorful World of UAE Through the Lens of Its Youth.
- If selected as a finalist, participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own transport and accommodation to the venue in Dubai.
- Minors must obtain permission from their guardians to participate.
- Submissions must not include any explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content.
- Failure to adhere to these rules will result in disqualification from the competition.
- For our photography category, only one original high-quality image is to be submitted.
